For travelers keen to explore Croatia's incredible coast in all its varied glory, they needn't wait any longer: the country has just announced that yacht charters on its coast are welcome this summer. It will not only be EU holidaymakers who will be able to visit Croatia, but US visitors too. This news is hot on the heels of other leading Mediterranean yacht charter destinations (such as Italy and Greece) also announcing the relaxation of COVID-19 measures for this season.
To be able to enter the country, travelers have a few options at their disposal. A negative antigen or PCR test taken 48 hours prior to arrival or proof of vaccination showing that the final jab was taken at least two weeks before the arrival date will enable you entry. Equally, if you can provide proof of having recovered from COVID-19 more than 11 days prior to arriving in Croatia, but no less than 180 days before, or proof of recovery plus the first vaccination dose at least 11 days prior to departure (and within a 5 month period) you can also visit Croatia.
Any guest that does not meet one of the aforementioned criteria will need to pay for a test on arrival and be subject to a 10-day quarantine, or until a negative test result is confirmed.
Visitors will be utterly spellbound by the enduring beauty of the Dalmatian coastline. From the secluded Kornati Islands to vibrant Dubrovnik, guests have no shortage of heavenly spots to choose from.
